FOR 2014 EVENT

The Sacramento Sports Hall of Fame is partnering with Special Olympics Northern California for this year’s Sacramento Sports Hall of Fame Celebration Induction event on January 25th at Thunder Valley Casino Resort.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit Special Olympics athletes.

In addition to being the primary charity beneficiary, the Sacramento Sports Hall of Fame will honor and induct a Sacramento area Special Olympics athlete at the event along with the class of 2014.

Quotes:

“We are honored to have Special Olympics Northern California involved with the Sacramento
Sports Hall of Fame.  Special Olympics is very dear to our heart and it was a top priority to be associated with them as our charitable partner.   Our missions are similar as we both honor and appreciate our athletes.  It is such a natural fit.  Our goal is to help create awareness of the tremendous work that the Special Olympics does in our community and honor these athletes.”

“Special Olympics Northern California is about celebrating the best in our athletes.  The Sacramento Sports Hall of Fame embodies that spirit as it seeks to recognize the accomplishments of incredible Sacramento athletes.  We are honored to be designated as a beneficiary and support the recognition of these Sacramento sporting greats.”
