Known as the “MaddBacker” Adrian was a three sport star at Elk Grove High School and was part of the 1991 CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Championship team.  He was a First Team All Delta League and All-City Linebacker in 1992 and was also the Section Shot Put Champion during his Track and Field season in 1993.

 

He attended Colorado State University where he had 22½ sacks as a defensive end and linebacker.  He is 4th on the Rams all-time sack list. 

 

Adrian played six seasons in the NFL, all with the Cincinnati Bengals as a Linebacker.  He played in a minimum of 14 games every year and accumulated 185 tackles, three sacks and one interception.  

 

Adrian is one of the Sacramento area’s most popular athletes, having stayed in the area after his playing days.  He has coached High School football and been very active in the community.  He was voted by Sacramento Magazine as “Best Sports Hero with a Cause”  in 2008.  He currently is a sports agent with 3D Sports Agency.
